Your intentions:
Please send me a brief email with details about what is going on for your animal. Details are helpful, because I can include them in my awareness and sometimes that alone can shift things.
You’ll notice on the group notes page that some folks ask their animals for their intentions directly. If you do that and share that with me, I’ll add it to the group notes page unless you ask me not to. I can take out personal information in those.
Some people just ask their animal and that is it, others do that and add some request or detail from their human perspective. If you can’t “hear” your animal, that’s totally fine. It’s not expected or necessary, it’s just something that folks who’s animals have been in pet clinic for a long time started being able to do, and we evolved with great pleasure to include that information for everyone to enjoy.
It’s a benefit for us humans to be able to understand from their perspective what is going on in pet clinic and what they really care about, and how that might be different from what is important or obvious to us.
You can expect I’ll reply with a quick “got it” email to you once I receive your email with your intentions for your animal, so you know I have it and have added it to my session day. Please note that I don’t read them until session day, so if there is something urgent or some bad news, I’m not being callous when I respond “got it, thank you!” I just haven’t read the text yet.
Let’s say you send me an email with your intentions right after signing up, you are going to get more reminders even though I have your intentions. Your “got it” email is the key for you to know I’ve got your notes included into the session. If you ever didn’t send a note, I’ll still include your animal, and if anything comes through specifically for or from your animal, I’ll email you.
So if you were to sign up, send a note to me and the "got it” email doesn’t come before the session, it means the email monsters ate it and I need for you to re-send your note.
I sometimes wait until the night before the session to collect and respond to all the emails. If I don’t have something from someone signed up, I’ll search my inbox too and likely send a personal email.
Group notes:
During session day, I start adding in notes and pictures on Captain’s Log.

You can wait until the end of the day to check it or refresh as the day goes along.
Please do read these. They will always include things relevant for your pet that I don’t include in the personal notes.
Timings:
Early in the morning I usually get started on little bits of clinic. The official “start time” is 10am my local time, which at this time is PST.
Each session is a little different in terms of the order I am guided to do things in and when you’ll get your personal email notes from me.
I’ll post the group notes and send personal emails before I go to bed on pet clinic day. Sometimes I’m finished by 2pm my time, other times not until 11pm. Once all of the group notes and personal notes are finished, assuming I usually send an “it’s a wrap!” Email to let you know.
